OUR BADGE
The Badge depicts land and sea, while the superimposed A and T signify Amanzimtoti, the Zulu term for “sweet waters“. The motto “Eripe Me Domine“, Latin for “Deliver me O lord“, forms the opening words of the 140th Psalm.
All learners see the Badge daily. There is no clear record of who designed the school badge, but it is assumed that it was designed by Mr.F.G. Wilson, who was Principal of the school from 1943 – 1951.
