ACADEMICS Foundation, Intermediate and Senior Phase

The Foundation Phase comprises of Grade 1, 2 and 3. We aim to encourage the development of the whole child in a caring, stimulating and educational environment, using a variety of teaching methods to develop enquiring minds in our learners.

Our dedicated educators are assisted by teacher assistants and teachers-in-training who ensure that each child receives a quality, all- rounded education, creating opportunities for active participation in all spheres of school life.

In addition to the wide range of subjects offered at Amanzimtoti Primary, the learners also receive Media Science, Physical Education, Creative Arts and Computer lessons that are all, taught by specialists in these fields.

The Intermediate and Senior Phase comprises of Grade 4, 5, 6 and 7. Well-trained, passionate and highly dedicated staff support the curriculum.

Learners experience a more formalised education environment as they move into this phase. This more formal approach assists in creating a healthy work ethic in our learners.
