At Amanzimtoti Primary, we believe that cultural activities are as important as academics and sport. Music, Dance, Drama and Art form the basis of our cultural programme, which allows our learners to express themselves in an artistic and creative way.
MUSIC & SONG
Our school has three choirs comprising approximately 280 children. The choirs are accompanied by a band featuring marimbas, drums and a piano. We have annual productions, concerts and a Choir Festival, which allow our learners to showcase their talents.
Art & Craft
The Art and Craft Club is available for all our Grade 1 to Grade 7 learners. The learners are encouraged to be creative and innovative, and to use their imagination, guided by our dedicated educators and using various materials, including recycled items. Learners are taught a variety of art techniques to create beautiful pieces.
We participate in various environmental programmes in the classroom and in co-curricular activities throughout the year.
We receive parental and community support to achieve our goals.
We have a dedicated Enviro Club committed to making a difference in our school and community.
We strive for excellence in environmental awareness at our school.
